Questions, answered

The things people ask before their first order, and a few things worth knowing afterwards.

Services

What we do and how it is priced.

Laundry uses water and detergent, and suits everyday cotton and synthetic clothing. Dry cleaning uses a solvent instead of water, which is what structured or delicate garments — suits, blazers, silks, wools — need to keep their shape, colour and finish. If you are unsure which a garment needs, tell us and we will assess it.

Laundry, dry cleaning, wash and fold, steam ironing, specialist care for delicate and occasion wear, and cleaning for household fabrics such as bedding and curtains. Each is described in detail on the Services page.

Pricing depends on the item, the fabric, its condition and the treatment required — an embellished saree is not priced like a cotton shirt. The Pricing page lists everything we clean by category, and we confirm your price once the garments have been assessed.

Booking & collection

Getting your laundry to us and back.

Use the Book a Pickup form on this site. Fill in your details, the service you need and a preferred pickup date and time, and we will get in touch to confirm. You can also send an enquiry from the Contact page.

Pickup and return are part of how the service is designed to work. Availability depends on your location, so we confirm collection and return arrangements with you when your booking is accepted.

It depends on the service and the garment — pressing is quicker than dry cleaning, and specialist items take longer than everyday wear. We confirm a schedule with you when we accept the booking rather than quoting a time we cannot hold to.

Your garments

How different fabrics are handled.

Delicate, embroidered and embellished pieces are assessed individually before any treatment, and handled item by item rather than in a general load. If a garment carries a risk we think you should know about, we tell you before proceeding.

Yes — bedsheets, duvets, blankets, curtains and similar household fabrics are cleaned at the right scale and returned folded. Very large or specialist furnishings are assessed case by case.

Some stains are permanent by the time they reach us, depending on what caused them and how long they have been set. We treat what can be treated and tell you honestly when something cannot be fully removed rather than returning it without comment.

Franchise

Opening a Pure Laundry.

The Franchise page explains the opportunity, the indicative investment range and the enquiry process. Submit the franchise enquiry form there and we will get in touch to take the conversation forward.
